Born in 1973 Rajendra Maharjan started his art learning in 1992 as a student of Lok Chitrakar. He began his career grinding colors for his teacher. Dedicated and simple, quiet and obedient, all very important features of a paubha artist. He has had several national and local group exhibition awarded by Nepal Bhasa Academy. In his seventeen years career he has painted wall paintings in the "Golden Temple" of Patan and succeeded to get the third level examination of Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training(CTEVT). He assists his master Lok Chitrakar. His major works are collected in Japan and Nepal. Rajendra Maharjan lives with his two children and wife in Kathmandu. |
