Description about Shiva-Shakti (Nrittesvara) It is a specimen of Nrittesvara, "Lord of the cosmic Dance". Guise of Shiva, five headed, with twenty arms, dancing together with his Shakti. Originally painted during the reign of the King Pratap Malla 1659 A.D.; on cloth at present at the collection of National Art Gallery, Bhaktapur. This replica is rearranged and painted by Lok Chitrakar. |
