Garuda is a man bird, the mount Vishnu. He is often found kneeling before Vishnu Shrines. In the Buddhist Pantheon, he may serve as the vehicles for Amoghasiddhi. He is almost represented as human, except for large wings which fold out from his shoulders. Some times he is represented with the head of a bird.
